Interview with Diane Martinson

What inspires you?
The powerful connection of a shared musical experience.  I’m passionate about performing music that brings people closer together and creates a lasting musical memory.

How  did  you  get  your  start  in  the  business?
I began singing at weddings and special events as a teenager. The referrals came from being a soloist in the church choir, I had been singing there since age 3. Later, as I worked in musical theater & dance productions, I met wonderful musicians that I continue to work with in my bands and ensembles.

What  is  the  most  unique  thing  about  you?
Music style versatility – I love singing classical as much as jazz, and everything in-between.

What  is  your  favorite  childhood  memory?  
Singing in combined choir concerts, church, and, community . A very close second; attending theater productions, especially the Children’s Theater.

What  is  your  motto  or  favorite  quote  to  live  by?

If  you  could  describe  yourself  in  2  words  what  would  they  be?

Are you involved in Charity work?  Tell us about it.
Yes, I donate music performance time to a few charities each year, and I am available through Wish Upon A Wedding.

What  are  your  hobbies,  outside  of  your  business?
Container gardening, ballroom dance, baking with organic ingredients, and power walks
